Job Description:

Seeking a Staff Accountant with an Accounts Payable background for growing business. Outside of the job duties, I?m looking for a go-getter. Someone who is a self-starter who will come in, take initiative and get things done with the team.

Four successful generations working within the Marketing & Advertising industry, with one of our previous companies being sold to CBS Network.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

PRIMARY: Accounts Payable

? Receives and processes supporting documentation from the field.

? Prepares invoices to be routed and coded.

? Matches (3-way matching) supporting documentation to invoices.

? Scans and attaches documents to an electronic record.

? Routes invoices for approval manually and electronically.

? Records payables within the accounting software.

? Reconciles vendor statements.

? Responds to vendor inquiries.

? Compiles vendor information.

? Researches and resolving issues related to job costs, purchase orders and vendor payments.

? Copy?s, scans, files and other administrative tasks.

? Accounts Receivable (A/R)

? Reconcile including bank, credit card and inter-company accounts

? Prepare journal entries

? Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing

? Assist with month-end sales closing process

? File, organize and maintain a clean and neat work environment

? Run errands including bank deposits and post office

? Answer accounting office phones and order supplies as needed

? Assist Accounting Manager on various projects as needed

Compensation:

Up to $40,000/year
