Job Description:

As a Director of Valuations at Fidelity Investments, you will lead and oversee the valuation of complex financial instruments within our vast portfolio. This strategic role involves collaboration with senior management to establish valuation metrics and protocols that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will guide a team dedicated to assessing the value of assets, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments, thereby ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial reporting and supporting the overall financial strategy of the firm. Develop and implement valuation models and methodologies for a variety of financial instruments. Collaborate with financial reporting and risk management teams to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Oversee the preparation and presentation of detailed valuation reports to senior management. Guide and mentor a team of valuation analysts and specialists. Stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes that impact asset valuation. Liaise with auditors and external valuation firms to validate internal assessments. Expertise in financial modeling and quantitative analysis. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in using advanced valuation tools and software.
