We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to participate in the month-end close process and assist with financial planning & reporting processes for Mid America Division. The analyst will assist in supporting the Division with reporting, financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and ad-hoc analytics. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure month-end close tasks and deliverables are completed timely and accurately. Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial review packages. Maintain & enhance accurate financial reporting for the Division and Sub-Divisions. Complete variance analysis of business performance for monthly, quarterly and year-to-date results. Analyze current and past trends including drivers of revenue, costs, and expenses. Prepare financial ad-hoc reports for various business arrangements and requests. Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and procedures and recommend solutions to streamline financial reporting. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies. Assist in developing the annual budget and financial forecasts for the Division and Sub-Divisions. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry. Strong financial analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Ability to learn new financial systems and tools quickly. PREFERENCES Experience in the healthcare or life sciences industry Experience with Hyperion, Essbase, PeopleSoft or other ERP systems. Experience working with large data sets and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) Schedule/Shift: 8am-5pm CT All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
