Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY The Accountant will follow established
procedures to support the finance team by preparing core, recurring
financial accounting activities from established processes
including journal entries and account reconciliations. This
position will be responsible for performing these monthly closing
process activities along with preparation of routine SOX controls
timely and accurately in accordance with company accounting
policies and GAAP. This role will assist with recurring activities
associated with the annual operating plan and forecasting
processes. Additionally, the Accountant will perform basic
financial statement variance analysis and support the business
operations by delivering standard, regular requests. CORE FUNCTIONS
Support the Finance team to ensure financials are prepared,
reconciled, and reported timely and accurately in accordance with
company accounting policies and GAAP. Prepare core Balance Sheet
account reconciliations. Perform recurring journal entries. Execute
standard SOX controls compliance with company policy. Perform basic
financial statement variance analysis. Support the Finance team’s
execution of the planning processes in accordance with company
policies. Assist with preparation of recurring monthly forecasting
and annual budget processes activities including running reports as
data inputs. Support the Finance team’s role of serving as an
operations business partner. Provide the business with routine
requests from established processes. Manages and updates product
costing in PLEX by coordinating cost calculations and allocations,
validating cost drivers cross-functionally, auditing BOM and labor
data, analyzing variances, supporting standard cost and overhead
updates, and calculating inventory reserves. Assist with
implementation efforts to improve financial processes. Live Our

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience Bachelor’s
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related degree is
required. 3 years of progressive accounting and / or finance
experience in manufacturing or cost accounting environment
required. Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Manufacturing accounting
knowledge and experience, including standard cost skills, are
preferred. Ability to solve problems independently and
resourcefully. Strong attention to detail. Ability to think
analytically. Ability to break down problems and provide
recommendations for solutions. Function efficiently in a fast-paced
environment. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, specifically in pivot
tables, vlook-ups, formulas, and functions. Travel Travel is not

RESPONSIBILITIES This position is an Individual Contributor:
working team member with no oversight of others and no management
responsibilities. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position is subject to
sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to
lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work
involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are
required only occasionally. Physical Activities This position is
subject to the following physical activities: the use of fingers to
pick or type, walking, talking, and hearing. Visual Acuity The
worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an
activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures;
transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading;
visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or
operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement
devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close
