Job Description Job Description General Position Summary: As a
Maintenance III worker, you will be required to perform essential
upkeep tasks throughout our facility, including mechanical,
electrical, and plumbing work. In this position, you will be
responsible for a wide variety of activities, such as repairs and
cleaning, to ensure that our facilities are both tidy and
functional. Self-motivation with a keen eye for detail,
reliability, and the possession of solid technical knowledge are
essential in this job. This position reports to the Director of
Facilities. Principal Accountabilities: Supports and upholds the
philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school Acts
as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the
Catholic Church Supports and adheres to the Code of Conduct and
policies and procedures of the school and Diocese Abides by the
Confidentiality Policy outlined in the Diocese Employee Handbook
Arranges furnishings and equipment for the purpose of providing
adequate preparations for meetings, classroom/playground
activities, meals, and events, including Mass setup/preparations
Drives the morning bus route as a backup. Driver for any day trips
assigned by the Facility Manager. These trips would be during this
employee's regular working hours. These day trips may extend the
workday into overtime. After-hours bus driver for athletics, clubs,
and other groups (If Available and agrees to drive - Not
mandatory). Performs preventative maintenance on all mechanical
systems. Maintain campus landscaping. Seasonal landscape cleanup
and plantings Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other
drainage problems Electrical wiring capabilities to manage issues
with the building’s electricity Carpentry ability to handle basic
repairs around the building. Has welding experience Groundskeeping
is required if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas
in need of maintenance Landscape Maintenance and Repair
Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the
building in a pleasant manner Attention to detail to ensure that
all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner, and any potential
hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked Physical
stamina to handle a complete shift of being active and working on
the building Work order management through Brightly software.
Working Knowledge of IPAD required. Event setup and breakdown
(Stage setup, pipe and drape setup, seating setup, sound system
setup). Access control system repairs. Door Hardware Repairs. Moves
and arranges furniture and equipment; sets up rooms for special
meetings or events. Performs minor inspection duties of work
performed or general building condition under the direction of a
supervisor or a skilled trade person. Cleans worksites, including
hauling debris and trash to the dumpster, cleaning tools and
equipment, and ensuring they are correctly stored. Required to have
prompt, regular attendance in-person and be available to work
on-site, in-person during regular business hours and as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator
or their representative. Comply with all NCHS policies and
procedures, the relevant policies and procedures of the Catholic
Diocese of Fort Worth, and the diocesan code of conduct Conduct

of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes. Visual

by bending spine at the waist. Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to
come to a rest on knee or knees. Crouching: Bending the body

about on hands and knees or hands and feet. Reaching: Extending

phases of building maintenance. Must maintain a valid Driver’s
License and auto insurance meeting diocesan minimum requirements
Travel Requirements: Not required. Education and Experience
Preferred: High School diploma General electrical knowledge General
plumbing knowledge HVAC Certification (EPA 608 and NATE (North
American Technician Excellence) Certification or equivalent)
Welding Experience CDL Driver (Willing to train) Job-related
experience is required Knowledge and Skills Preferred: Knowledge of
the basic teachings of the Catholic Church Able to communicate
effectively in both written and verbal form Able to work well with
others in the school community Skill in handling multiple tasks
simultaneously Skill in organizing and relating information in an

various electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, life safety, and

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook),
building energy management systems and event scheduling systems,
office practices, record keeping techniques, file practices
Knowledge of cleaning/janitorial equipment and supplies and their
safe use and storage Excellent communication skills and ability to
clearly express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. Must
be personable and able to converse intelligently and work
effectively with contractors, parishioners, and staff. Ability to
