Position Details
Position: Senior Process Engineer (Plastic Extrusion and Thermoforming)
Location: Corsicana, TX (Relocation assistance is available for those not local)
Shift: Mon-Fri 7a-4p
Travel: None
Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000 + 10% bonus

Position Description
The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for the sustainment and operational success of plant wide plastic extrusion and thermoforming operations through training, change management, and standard work instructions. The ideal candidate should have experience working with plastic extrusion process at a large scale.
--- Lead Engineering support for Corsicana plant to include plastic extrusion, thermoforming and printing.
--- Establishes, coordinates and directs plastic extrusion, thermoforming and off line printing process-improvement initiatives involving new methods, equipment and materials, and defines specification standards accordingly.
--- Monitors equipment condition to maintain necessary performance levels with the plant teams.
--- Provides technical operations support for extrusion, thermoforming and printing manufacturing problems. Develops and leads process-improvement initiatives to address specific issues as they arise.
--- Develops OEE and quality improvement plans with the plant teams to meet targets.
--- Serves as the central conduit for associated information designed to improve quality and productivity.
--- Supports materials innovation and savings via internal and external resources in substitution, alternative coatings and processing.
--- Collaborates with design and manufacturing to drive engineered scrap and productivity opportunities.
--- Coordinates and delivers training methods and capabilities including machinery, process, technique, safety, quality and productivity training.

Qualifications
--- Bachelors in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial) or equivalent experience
--- 3+ years of technical experience to include process support and working/hands-on knowledge of plastic extrusion processes and/or thermoforming at large scale
--- Demonstrated collaborative ability in dynamic organizational environments.
--- Strong analytical skills using standard software packages such as Excel and maintenance work order systems to identify opportunities and validate holding improvement gains.
