Location: Waco, TX 76710 Job Title: Industrial mechanical/Maintenance Technician (2nd and 3rd shift) Job Type: Direct Hire Pay/Salary: $ 23.00 per hour Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 11:00 pm – 7:00 am or 5:00 pm – 5:00 am Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanical/Maintenance Technician with strong electrical expertise to join a Waco area manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment, with a particular focus on electrical systems. The technician will work during the night shift, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently to support continuous production. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, including wiring, control panels, and motor systems. Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure long-term operational efficiency. Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics to effectively troubleshoot and repair equipment. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly. Install and configure new equipment as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area. Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of equipment performance and repairs. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting, with a strong emphasis on electrical skills. Ability to work night shifts (11 PM to 7 AM or 5 PM to 5 AM) and flexible hours as needed. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, and around machinery.
