potential Employee discount programs What You’ll Do: Execute
national generator and accessory preventive maintenance (PM),
inspection, testing, and repair programs across all branches and
depots. Ensure generator fleet readiness, availability, and
compliance with established SOPs and PM standards. Lead and manage
generator technicians nationwide, including work assignments,
coverage planning, onboarding, and performance accountability. Hold
technicians accountable for workmanship quality, documentation
accuracy, and safety compliance. Coordinate corrective maintenance,
overhauls, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime. Establish,
onboard, and manage third-party service vendors and repair
partners; monitor quality, turnaround time, and cost effectiveness.
Monitor PM compliance, downtime metrics, and fleet readiness KPIs;
identify and escalate chronic reliability issues. Support
commissioning, load testing, demobilization, and redeployment of
generator assets. Ensure required testing equipment is available
and properly utilized across locations. Verify accurate maintenance
records, work orders, and service documentation within fleet
systems (CMMS or equivalent). Support warranty claims and
coordinate OEM service actions as needed. Partner with Operations
and Regional Service Managers to support regional fleet readiness
needs. Provide field-level reporting and feedback to senior
leadership. Reinforce safe work practices and support audits,
inspections, and corrective actions related to generator fleet
maintenance. Perform additional duties in support of generator
fleet reliability, technician effectiveness, and operational
objectives. Qualifications: Required: 7 years of hands-on
experience with industrial or rental power generators, including
maintenance, diagnostics, and repair. 3 years of experience leading
generator technicians or field service teams in a multi-site or
regional environment. Strong working knowledge of diesel and
natural gas generator systems (engines, alternators, controls,
accessories). Proven experience executing preventive and corrective
maintenance programs across dispersed locations. Experience
managing third-party service vendors and repair partners. Working
knowledge of PM schedules, service documentation, and fleet
maintenance systems (CMMS or similar). Ability to read and
interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and OEM
documentation. Strong understanding of safe work practices related
to generator maintenance and electrical systems. Ability to travel
as required to support technician oversight and fleet execution
nationwide. Preferred: Experience supporting large rental generator
fleets (mobile, emergency, or temporary power applications).
Familiarity with Tier 3 / Tier 4 emissions systems and
aftertreatment troubleshooting. Experience supporting
commissioning, load testing, and demobilization activities.
Knowledge of common generator OEMs and control platforms (e.g.,
CAT, Cummins, MTU, Volvo, Technogen, Deep Sea, ComAp). Experience
coordinating OEM warranty claims and service actions. Prior
experience partnering with Operations, Dispatch, or Regional
Service leadership. Formal technical training, trade school,
military power generation, or equivalent field-based education. If
