The Opportunity: We're expanding our electrical engineering team to support growing demand in data centers, industrial manufacturing, and distribution facilities. This is a permanent position backed by a strong project pipeline—we consistently have work for talented electrical engineers. What You'll Work On: Data Centers - CPU infrastructure, testing facilities, and mission-critical power systems (core focus) Industrial Manufacturing - Large-scale production facilities and process automation Distribution Centers - Warehouse automation and logistics infrastructure Municipal Projects - Select public sector work Project Scale: Primarily $50M-$300M with strategic smaller engagements Key Responsibilities: Design electrical systems for complex industrial and data center projects Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and power distribution design Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams Develop construction documents, specifications, and technical drawings Conduct site visits and provide construction administration support Review submittals and respond to RFIs during construction phase Client interaction opportunities (we have roles for both client-focused and technical-focused engineers) What You'll Bring: 3-7 years electrical engineering experience in MEP consulting or industrial design Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required) PE license strongly preferred (or actively pursuing) Data center, manufacturing, or mission-critical facility experience highly valued Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software Strong technical knowledge of NEC, power distribution, and industrial systems Excellent communication skills for client and contractor coordination Stable work history (we value commitment and long-term growth) Why This Opportunity Stands Out: High-Profile Projects - Work on the most technically challenging projects in the industry Blue-Chip Clients - Major technology companies, global manufacturers, and industry leaders Career Growth - Mid-sized firm means visibility, mentorship, and clear advancement paths Minimal Travel - Only 3-6 trips per year, occasional day trips within Texas Work-Life Balance - No constant travel grind like larger national firms Technical Excellence - Build deep expertise on complex, meaningful projects Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary: Up to $130,000 (commensurate with experience) Overtime Pay: Straight overtime compensation for hours over 40 Performance Bonus: Discretionary bonuses based on individual and company performance Total Comp Potential: Top performers earning $200K with OT and bonuses 401(k): 3% company match Health Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision coverage (employer contribution) Professional Development: PE exam support, continuing education, conference attendance The Culture: We're a tight-knit team of approximately 40 professionals who value technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.
