Join our team and let's continue making chocolate lovers happy!----A day in the life---As the Manager of Scheduling, you will manage the plant scheduling team to ensure successful completion of a production plan and monitor MRP to avoid potential production constraints. You will be the point person for all communication regarding scheduling between the production facility and corporate teams.-- In this position, you will rapidly react to planning changes and have a backup plan daily and weekly.-- You will take initiative in verifying supplies are available, lead efforts to minimize excess semi-finished goods, and spearhead data accuracy in SAP to support PPDS scheduling needs and refinement.------What you will be doing---Utilize the PPDS module in SAP to: Rapidly learn multiple constraints in production departments that are not systematized. Support collaboration between plant operation and corporate planning teams. Participate in daily and weekly production meetings to verify plant approval of the schedule and manage deviations from that schedule. Analyze capacity vs demand to suggest capacity improvements and/or sales opportunities. Analyze and identify opportunities to improve line efficiency/OEE. Perform capacity and cost analysis for capital improvement or product development opportunities. Manage plant scheduler to ensure completion of essential tasks. Create and update detailed training documents. Monitor and adhere to food safety scheduling requirements as defined by Food Safety & Quality Assurance (example: Allergen Management)Do you have what it takes?-- (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's degree or related experience at a senior level Two years related experience and/or training in a manufacturing setting Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry MS Office Software, to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as general database knowledge Excellent written and oral communication skills Flexible to work scheduled shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to reside in the Corsicana, TX or surrounding areas (relocation assistance provided)Do you stand above the rest?
