Ensures that professional and skilled nursing care has been provided to all patients in the implement and development of the identified patient plan of care.Monitors, records, and reports symptoms or changes in patients' conditions completing all documentation in a timely manner; maintaining patient clinical record and reports in accordance with Hospital policy and established standards.Identifies patient and family learning needs. Teaches patient and families using effective teaching methods and documents accordingly.Based on needs assessment, coordinates and delegates care and treatments with the interdisciplinary team. Provides timely and adequate supervision to LPNs/LVNs and Nursing Aides/Techs. Performing supervisory Charge Nurse responsibilities as assigned.Provides timely assistance with urgent and emergency situations, i.e., Code Blue and Rapid Response.May be required to work during inclement weather and other staffing emergencies.Requirements for consideration:Successful completion of accredited Registered Nursing program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.One (1) year recent experience preferred. Acute care setting preferred.Current state license as a Registered Nurse required.Current BLS Certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
