Job Description:
Join our team as a day or night shift, full-time or PRN Patient
Care Technician (PCT) in Tyler, TX. Inpatient Rehab Oncology

flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing
in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER
with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more
than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Work under limited supervision of nursing and medical staff and
with full proficiency to perform all duties, which include
assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing,
eating, and other ADLs. Observe patients’ progress to prepare and
disseminate reports to Registered Nurse or other medical staff.
Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties. Measure
and record patients' intake and output and other measurements in
accordance with unit routines, assist patients with range of
motion, and draw blood. Coordinate daily activities for assigned
unit to include general clerical and administrative support and
participates in performance improvement activities to enhance and
maintain personal and department qualifications and standards of
performance Completion of approved CNA or PCT certification, or a
senior year of nursing school with less than one semester to
complete the nursing program 5 years' experience in acute or
long-term care
