Department: NICU/Nursery Special Care Shift/Schedule: FT Nights,
(3)12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM-7:15 AM We are a level II NICU and
shortly expanding to level III. Growing community hospital, our
patient experience scores for Women’s is in the 99th percentile,
family-like work environment, supportive management team Magnet
Recognition Designation! Department: 70 team members for Women’s, 6
labor rooms, 2 ORs, 2 bay PACU, 11 bed Postpartum, 6 bed Level II
NICU. L&D 1 nurse to 2 patients, Mom/Baby 1 nurse to 6 patients

Registered Nurse, will oversee patient care provided by the
healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your
responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health
issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. What
You'll Do - You, as an RN, will conduct detailed clinical
assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create,
implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired
outcomes. - Building relationships, managing discomfort, staying
professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and
families. - Creating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving
issues. - You will help educate patients, families, nurses, and
community members to empower them with knowledge for better
healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly. -
Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan. Delegate
tasks carefully and follow up promptly. - You'll use different
strategies for problem-solving with patients, families, and staff.
Recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and
efficiency in patient care planning and delivery. - Achieve goals
through teamwork, recognize contributions, commit to growth.
Contribute to peers' development, show community service
commitment. What Will Make You Successful In The Role - A deep
understanding of nursing and patient care standards, as well as
procedures. - Know nursing laws, rules, standards, and guidelines
in your area. Understand hospital procedures and rules. -
