Job Description:
At Methodist Health System, we are committed to providing

currently seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU / Surgical ICU Nurse
to join our team of compassionate professionals. This role involves
delivering high-quality care to critically ill and surgical
patients, monitoring their progress, and ensuring their well-being
in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will
have a demonstrated history of critical care expertise, strong
communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a
multidisciplinary team. Provide continuous observation and
intensive care to patients in the ICU and Surgical ICU. Monitor
patient’s vital signs and symptoms, and report any significant
changes to the appropriate personnel. Administer medications and
treatments as prescribed by medical professionals. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient
care plans. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans
and health management post-discharge. Maintain accurate and
up-to-date patient records and documentation. Ability to perform
critical patient care and monitoring techniques effectively. Strong
clinical skills in a high-pressure environment. Excellent teamwork
and communication abilities. Proficient in using medical software
for patient management. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in
the state of Texas. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Certified Critical
Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred but not mandatory.
