HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Respiratory Therapist to join our Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (PEDS NICU) team. This role specializes in providing respiratory care to newborns and children with acute or chronic respiratory disorders. As a CRT within our expansive healthcare network, you will have access to cutting-edge equipment and a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to healthcare excellence and patient safety. Assess, diagnose, and treat infants, children, and adolescents with respiratory ailments. Operate and maintain various types of respiratory care equipment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques. Participate in the development of treatment protocols and support healthcare delivery improvements. Proficient in using respiratory equipment like ventilators and oxygen delivery devices Able to assess and interpret patient data effectively Strong communication and teamwork abilities Knowledge of respiratory medications and their proper administration Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) BLS certification, preferably PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
