(Epic) Description: We are seeking a Step Down Registered Nurse for
our unit. The position involves working three 12-hour night shifts
per week. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of nursing
experience, with a preference for step-down or telemetry units.
Travel experience is required for this position. Required
certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and SAMA. Nurses will be
responsible for managing a patient load of up to six patients. Key
skills include telemetry, phlebotomy, and managing vasoactive drips
without titration. Experience in blood product administration and
administration of oxygen is necessary. Candidates should also have
experience in wound care and tracheostomy management. The unit
provides interdisciplinary support from various services including
physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The
patient population primarily consists of adults and geriatrics with
diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, and hypertension. This is an excellent
