Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Intensive Care Unit Location: Dallas, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,618 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified MICU RN in Dallas, Texas, 75230! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years of MICU/MSICU experience License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without the following skills will not be considered: - 2 years of MICU/MSICU experience - BLS - ACLS Description: Please read carefully. The unit staff assignments are based on acuity and skills. Candidates should be familiar with all ICU equipment, including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors. The documentation system used is Meditech. Floating will occur as needed. Active RN TX license is required; temporary licenses will not be accepted. Familiarity with several procedures performed in the unit, such as central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations, is essential. Dress code includes royal blue scrubs. Nails must be clean and healthy; artificial nails, gel, and next-gen nails are not acceptable. Hair should be neat and clean, without extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if it is shoulder-length or longer while working in the lab. Body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings.
