HCA Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist CRTT (Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician) on a PRN (as-needed) basis to join our dynamic team. We are committed to delivering exceptional care by enhancing patient experiences through our extensive network of healthcare facilities. This position requires proficiency in managing ventilation support and emergency care for patients with heart and lung conditions, along with exceptional patient interaction skills. Perform diagnostic tests to measure lung capacity Administer and monitor patients on ventilators and other breathing apparatuses Respond to emergency situations requiring respiratory expertise Educate patients and families on lung health and wellness Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records Strong assessment and diagnostic abilities Ability to manage airway and ventilation equipment Effective communication and education of patients Crisis intervention techniques Proven ability to work under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification as a Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) required Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT) in the relevant state Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred but not required
