Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled CAT Scan Technician
to join our faith-based healthcare team, focused on transforming
healthcare through innovation and compassionate, personalized care.
As a CAT Scan Technician at Ascension, you will harness
cutting-edge imaging technology to provide high-quality diagnostic
imaging services that are crucial for patient assessment and care.
You will work within a vibrant community of professionals in our
network of hospitals and clinics to ensure the best health outcomes
for our patients. Operate computerized tomography (CT) machines to
create diagnostic images of patients' internal structures. Assist
radiologists with imaging procedures, ensuring precise and clear
images for analysis. Prepare patients for CT scans, including
explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient
comfort and safety. Maintain patient records and imaging data in
accordance with HIPAA standards. Collaborate with other healthcare
professionals to provide comprehensive care. Perform regular
maintenance and safety checks on CT imaging equipment to ensure
optimal functionality. Stay current with new technologies and
advancements in the field of radiologic imaging. Proficiency in
operating CAT scan equipment Strong understanding of anatomy and
physiology Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare
environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and
registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in
Computed Tomography (CT) is highly preferred.
