Job Description:

HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist for our Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (PEDS NICU) team. This role is critical in providing respiratory care services and life support to neonates and children with critical conditions. Working at HCA Healthcare, you will be part of a caring environment focused on improving human life and delivering top-tier medical care. Our Respiratory Therapists are key players in the treatment plans and recoveries of our youngest and most vulnerable patients. Performing respiratory care assessments and treatments on neonates and children in the NICU and pediatric units. Monitoring patient's physiological responses to therapy and consulting with healthcare team to change therapy plans when necessary. Maintaining patient airways by clearing, positioning, and using life support machines. Educating family members on patient care plans and respiratory management strategies. Documenting all patient care services and interventions in electronic medical records. Adhering to safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines. Proficiency in pediatric and neonatal respiratory care techniques Ability to operate all relevant respiratory care equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capability to perform under stress especially in emergency scenarios Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
