HCA Healthcare, a leading healthcare services provider, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Respiratory Therapist CRTT on a PRN (as-needed) basis to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you'll provide top-tier respiratory care at our advanced facilities, utilizing cutting-edge technology and methodologies to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Working in a supportive and patient-centric environment, you'll be essential in executing our mission to care for and improve human life, meeting the challenges of acute and chronic respiratory conditions across diverse patient populations. Perform diagnostic tests to measure lung capacity. Respond to codes and emergencies requiring respiratory interventions. Administer and manage therapies to improve patient respiratory function. Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate treatment plans. Educate patients and families on treatment and management of respiratory conditions. Maintain patient charts and electronic medical records with updates on treatment plans and progress. Ensure operation of respiratory equipment by performing safety checks. Proficiency in using respiratory care equipment and devices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment Dedication to patient safety and quality of care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state license as a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) BLS certification ACLS preferred
