Job Description:

Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in providing diverse home healthcare services, is looking for a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team for night shifts. This role focuses on delivering low acuity care to patients in their homes, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. This position requires a compassionate professional who is prepared to work intimately with patients and their families, ensuring the provision of bedside care, symptom management, and general health monitoring following a personalized care plan. Provide basic medical care including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and providing wound care. Develop and follow a patient care plan and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and home care procedures. Document and report any changes in patient's conditions. Assist in the use of medical equipment and check the equipment to ensure it's functioning properly. Respect the patient’s confidentiality and comply with all professional and agency regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed reports. Ability to respond effectively to emergencies. Adept at using healthcare software and systems for patient care. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). BLS certification preferred.
