Join our team and let's continue making chocolate lovers happy!A day in the life---As the HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in providing HR support across various functions, including full-cycle recruitment, pre-employment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and execution of HR strategies, policies, and initiatives. You will also participate in and/or lead HR related projects and community events.-- In this position, you will be collaborating with hiring leaders and the HR Manager, therefore expected to be onsite Monday - Friday during normal business hours.-- ----What you will be doing--- Collaborate with the management team to understand their talent needs and partner with them to develop effective workforce plans. Manage recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and selection processes. Prepare the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the plant. Own and manage the new employee orientation process in collaboration with the other plants and corporate. Provide guidance to managers and employees, offering support and expertise in resolving HR issues. Handle employee relations matters by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and mediating conflicts to promote a positive work environment. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in HR practices and policies. Collaborate with the HR and plant management team to analyze HR metrics and trends, providing insights to drive informed decision-making. Participate in HR projects and initiatives, working collaboratively to improve HR processes and contribute to organizational growth.Do you have what it takes?-- (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or commensurate, relatable HR work experience. 4+ years of HR and Talent Acquisition experience. Experience working in a high-volume recruiting environment. Understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels. Proficient in HRIS systems, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work odd shift hours occasionally, depending on business need.Do you stand above the rest? (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution center environment. Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SCP, or PHR).
Demonstrated experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.

You'll be working around different machines - Schubert's, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and chocolate candy banks/steels. Activity. Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs/ladders, and routinely lift 50 lbs. Temperature. You will be comfortable year-round with our climate-controlled environment. Our temperatures are consistently around 63--F but could fluctuate depending on your specific role. Smell. You will enjoy a variety of deliciously sweet aromas and you may end your day smelling like chocolate! Dress code. Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for food safety, personal safety and in guidance with our good manufacturing practices (GMP). Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.
