Job Description:

Dallas | Hybrid AmLaw 25 firm seeking a Public Finance Associate Attorney or Counsel to join its Public Finance team in Dallas. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 2–5 yrs exp handling a broad range of public finance matters for state and local government entities. The role includes work on municipal bonds, notes, and other tax-exempt or taxable obligations across the U.S. and its territories for public infrastructure and capital improvement projects. The Role • Advise state and local government entities on public finance transactions • Handle tax-exempt and taxable municipal bond financings • Support debt offerings and capital improvement financing transactions • Work on financings involving cities, counties, housing authorities, school districts, junior college districts, and special-purpose districts • Collaborate within a nationally recognized public finance platform on sophisticated transactions Ideal Background • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school • 2–5 yrs exp in public finance and municipal bond transactions • Experience with tax-exempt municipal bond financing • Strong transactional background • Experience representing governmental entities preferred • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills • Strong academic credentials • Admitted in Texas or eligible for admission Why This Opportunity • AmLaw 25 nationally recognized Public Finance platform • High-level exposure to complex infrastructure and capital markets transactions • Sophisticated governmental and institutional client base • Hybrid flexibility in Dallas • Market-leading compensation Compensation: $235,000–$365,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications) Confidential Inquiries Additional details available in a confidential discussion.
