Drive locally and be home nightly while supporting the delivery chain of high-quality supplies from small family eateries to large national chains. As one of our dedicated drivers, you will handle your vehicle with precision and pride, ensuring timely deliveries and the safe transportation of goods. Operate a commercial heavy vehicle to transport goods to various local destinations without overnight trips Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure your truck is in good working order and safe to drive Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all goods are secured properly to avoid damage during transit Maintain accurate driving and delivery records Provide customer service during deliveries, acting as a positive representative of Performance Foodservice Follow scheduled delivery routes, adhering strictly to delivery times and protocols Proficient in operating a commercial vehicle Strong time management and customer service skills Ability to manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle heavy equipment Basic understanding of truck maintenance and repair Medical Insurance 401k Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A A clean driving record DOT medical card
