Job Summary: The Phan Agency, Brightway Insurance, is seeking a highly motivated Insurance Agent to join their team in Richardson, TX. The Insurance Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, analyzing insurance needs, and recommending suitable insurance policies to clients. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills as it is sales-oriented. Responsibilities: - Quote and sell insurance products to potential clients - Build and maintain strong client relationships for customer satisfaction - Analyze clients' insurance needs and provide appropriate recommendations - Explain policy details, coverage limits, and exclusions to clients - Assist clients in completing insurance applications and necessary paperwork - Process policy changes, endorsements, and claims accurately and efficiently - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance policies - Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions for policies Minimum Qualifications: - Must be at least 18 years old - High School Diploma or higher education - Proven experience in sales administration, retail sales, or customer-facing roles - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions - Must be fluent in English (Spanish language skills are a plus) Ideal Qualifications: - Hold an active Texas General Lines Property and Casualty License - 1-2 years of Property and Casualty Insurance Sales Experience - 1-2 years of Marketing Experience - Fluency in Spanish OR Vietnamese Compensation: - Guaranteed Base Salary: $30-35K annually, PLUS commission - Average 1st-year total earnings range from $45K-$60K through a combination of guaranteed base salary and commission - Top Performing Agents in their second year and onwards can earn up to $65K-70K Benefits and Perks: - Comprehensive training program provided - Health, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage options available - Retirement savings plan with employer match - Paid time off for vacation and personal days If you are a motivated individual with a passion for sales and helping others, we encourage you to apply.
